Diseño

Estudio descriptivo multicéntrico transversal (periodo estimado de inclusión: un año).

Objetivos

El objetivo de este proyecto es describir, en los pacientes con síndrome de Sjögren primario que se atienden en las consultas de reumatología españolas las características clínicas, con especial referencia a la actividad y gravedad, las características biológicas, comorbilidades, el manejo farmacológico y no farmacológico que se realiza del mismo y la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud y su relación con las distintas expresiones clínicas y grados de gravedad de la afectación.

Como objetivos secundarios se plantean: Establecer un registro de pacientes en los hospitales participantes, que pueda servir de base para proyectos posteriores, y un consorcio de centros con interés en síndrome de Sjögren primario y que puedan realizar proyectos colaborativos en la enfermedad.

Pacientes

Se incluirán todos los pacientes con síndrome de Sjögren primario que cumplan los criterios de clasificación Europeo-Americanos registrados en las unidades de reumatología participantes (GT-EAS-SER) mediante un muestreo consecutivo por conveniencia. La muestra estimada es de 500 pacientes.
